Rachel & Matt // Abbey House Hotel Wedding Photography
When Rachel and Matt got in touch with me and said they were getting married at Abbey House I was super excited. It’s a venue I’ve always absolutely loved, and I’m always really happy to be there. The staff are beyond fabulous, the house and the grounds lend themselves perfectly to photography, and the food and hospitality is second to none. Rachel and Matt had a lot of guests, it was a big BIG wedding, so they were married in the Cavindish Suite, the more modern contemporary alternative to the Great Hall where they held their drinks reception. The weather mainly behaved, so guest were gathered outside on the patio too! We did a really good job of dodging the odd shower, and were able to take Rachel and Matt off for some portraits after the meal, giving them some time to themselves (well almost!), and chance to explore the beautiful grounds.
It really was a gorgeous day. Rachel, Matt and all their family and friends were so friendly and welcoming, and Cameron and his team at Abbey House looked after us impeccably as ever.
I think you’ll agree these guys make the perfect couple, and Rachel looked absolutely stunning.
