Catherine & Matty // Allonby Church and Whitehaven Golf Club
On a bright and early June morning I met Matty outside the church, meeting and greeting his guests before Catherine’s arrival. No preps for this one, so I was super excited to see Catherine in her dress - I knew she’d look stunning, and she did! I had a lovely welcome at the church - thank you Allonby. After an emotional laughter-filled wedding service we headed off to Whitehaven Golf Club, which is such a fabulous venue, especially if you have a lot of guests; there’s a big modern space to fill there and the food is always soooo good - proper Cumbrian portions, which I’m still trying to get used to after 19 years living in Cumbria!
Catherine and Matty’s family and friends were truly lovely, and made me feel exceptionally welcome. I was inundated with requests for family photos, and I do hope some of them have found their way into Christmas cards this year.
Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your big day, it was an absolute pleasure.
