When Jessica and Martin could no longer get married in Malta, they decided they’d move the wedding to The Lakes and celebrate with close friends and family, and I’m so so glad they did! This was my first wedding since lockdown, and I was about as excited as it was possible to be! I was even more excited when I met Jessica, along with her mum and aunt, during preps in the morning - such a gorgeous and welcoming family.
It was a prosecco-filled morning full of smiles, laughter, and excitement. I couldn’t have felt happier!
Jessica arrived at the Merewood with her granddad, ready to walk her down the aisle. There were happy tears everywhere. Helen Parsons, an independent celebrant based in the west of the county, performed the most beautiful personalised ceremony; it couldn’t have been more perfect.
I loved every single minute I spent with Jessica, Martin, and all their family and friends. It really was an awesome start to my very delayed wedding season.
